HARTLY, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested a man after troopers allegedly found a marijuana growing operation in his house in Hartly.

Troopers went to the home of 57-year-old James W. Evans about 8 p.m. Monday to serve a protection order. Police say when officers were allowed inside, they saw 19 marijuana plants in a closet, as well as bags, jars, and pill bottles with marijuana seeds.

Evans is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and other drug offenses.
