FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have arrested two Fall River men in connection with unrelated sexual assaults on women on the campus of Bristol Community College.
Police say 22-year-old Ruddy Joseph made unwanted sexual advances and groped a 21-year-old woman studying in the campus cafeteria last Thursday.
On the same day, police allege 24-year-old McKenzy Blanc talked to a woman outside the library, asked her for a ride home, and assaulted her in her car before running away when she resisted.
The Herald News (https://bit.ly/1fcOjuc ) reports that Blanc’s lawyer said his client thought he had an “understanding” with his alleged victim over where their contact was headed. He was held on $500 bail.
Authorities say Joseph appears to have some mental health issues. He was held on $5,000 bail.
Neither man is a student.
