Woman wounded by shots fired into Kent home

KENT, Wash. (AP) - Shots fired into a Kent home Sunday night hit a woman in the head.

Medics rushed the 31-year-old woman to a hospital with a serious wound.

Police say there were children in the home who were not hit, but Det. Melanie Frazier says the shooting could have been much worse.

There’s no known suspect or motive in the shooting.
