PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota House has passed a bill to allow for big game hunting with crossbows during firearm season.

The measure received unanimous support and will go to the Senate next.

Last week the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee passed it with no dissenting votes.

Supporters of the bill say it will allow sportsmen another option with a lesser weapon while hunting.
