RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - The case of a former elementary school custodian accused of soliciting sex with a minor over the Internet has been moved to federal court.

The Rapid City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1fIWv7f) that 28-year-old Casey Godfrey is charged with attempted enticement of a minor using the Internet and attempted transfer of obscene material to a minor.

Godfrey has pleaded not guilty.



The indictment accuses Godfrey of using a cell phone to “persuade, induce, entice and coerce” a victim under the age of 18 to have sex.

Godfrey’s attorney could not be immediately reached for comment.
