NEW YORK (AP) - Four people were injured when a white sedan struck a bus stop in Queens and then fled the scene.
Police say the car struck a bus shelter in the Sunnyside Gardens neighborhood at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday. They say none of the injuries are believed to be serious. All four people were taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center.
Police say one child suffered lacerations. The ages of the victims and the nature of their injuries weren’t immediately known.
Police are searching for the driver of the white sedan and the investigation is ongoing.
