PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix firefighters say no one was injured in a house fire that caused the roof to collapse.

The Phoenix Fire Department says neighbors say the family of six that lives there was not home at the time.

Authorities say firefighters responded to the home around 4:30 a.m. and found a large blaze on the second floor of the two-story house.

They say crews were about to search for occupants when the roof caved in.

Firefighters were forced to leave the structure for their own safety.

According to neighbors, the family had left Friday at about 8 p.m.

Investigators are trying to determine the cause.
