LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A new website is using the name of an Interstate 80 exit to try to lure tourists to Cass County in eastern Nebraska.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the new site is now live at VisitExit426.com. The site is a collaborative marketing effort that includes information about area attractions. The project is funded through a Cass County tourism grant.
The site came through a partnership that includes Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, the Strategic Air & Space Museum, Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari, Iron Horse Golf Club, Quarry Oaks Golf Club, Carol Joy Holling Center, Cellar 426, and Round the Bend Steakhouse.
