DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A Davenport man charged with raping an 11-year-old girl faces new charges involving attacks on other girls 20 years ago.

The Quad-City Times reports (https://bit.ly/1i3WwEn) that 48-year-old Lorenzo Howard was arrested Dec. 13 and charged with multiple sexual abuse counts in the case of the 11-year-old girl.

Police say the girl reported that Howard raped her five times from September 2012 through November 2013. She said the attacks occurred when she visited an aunt.

Police say that during the course of their investigation, they found two other women who said Howard had sexually abused them in 1994, when they were 4 and 7 years old.

Howard is being held on $70,000 cash bail and could not be reached Saturday for comment.
