DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Officials at Dickinson Catholic Schools have named their first-ever president.

The organization decided to revamp its governance last year after the resignation of the school superintendent and the decision to disband the board of education.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1fk8zeP) that Steve Glasser has been named president. His appointment will complete the transition from a superintendent model to a president-principal model.

Glasser worked for Dickinson Catholic Schools for more than 20 years before most recently serving as marketing manager at American Bank Center in Dickinson.

Glasser will start Feb. 21.
