SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - Santa Fe police have made an arrest after a woman recorded a cellphone video of a man trying to break into her home.
The Santa Fe New Mexican reports (https://bit.ly/1bMMqDB ) authorities arrested 20-year-old Dariush Esfandi.
It is Esfandi’s fourth arrest in the last year.
Police say Esfandi was attempting to break into the home Jan. 6 when he noticed the woman recording him.
They say he fled but the woman obtained video of him and a car driving by shortly after.
Police say they traced the car’s license plate to him.
They arrested Esfandi on Thursday as he was leaving a home through a broken back window.
Esfandi is facing several charges including aggravated burglary, larceny, probation violation and resisting arrest.
