BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - Officials in Bozeman have given the owners of a 117-year-old brick facade that’s part of the Bozeman Brewery district two weeks to decide to either tear it down or make it safe.

KTVM-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1fkucf9) in a story on Friday that city officials say the wall that is part of a site listed on the National Register of Historic Places is a hazard.

City Manager Chris Kukulski says an engineering report cites safety concerns, and that city officials have a responsibility for the health and safety of the community.

City officials say they hope the property owners move forward with a mixed-use development plan that will keep the wall standing.
