Emergency responders are on the scene of a double-decker bus crash in New York’s Times Square.
A total of 14 people were injured in the crash, which happened right next to the TKTS discount tickets booth about 3:35 p.m. in the heart of Times Square.
Three of the injured are said to be in serious but stable condition, and none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, FDNY EMS Deputy Chief John Wieland told CBS’s local affiliate.
Most of those injured were pedestrians hit by flying debris when a lamp post fell down, FDNY said.
“Everybody was stable. Everybody’s going to recover from this. Thank God that nobody was really badly hurt,” Mr. Wieland told the station.
