Fox News’ psychiatry contributor Dr. Keith Ablow argued Tuesday that Michelle Obama shouldn’t be the authority on healthy eating because “she needs to drop a few” herself.
The panel on Fox’s “Outnumbered” was discussing the first lady’s plans to get American children eating healthier, Mediaite reported.
“How well could she be eating? She needs to drop a few. Let’s be honest. We’re taking nutrition advice from who?” he asked among a panel of four female co-hosts, whose gasps were clearly audible.
“You did not just say that,” Harris Faulkner interjected. “Oh, my goodness. Are we on a seven-second delay?”
“Let’s be honest,” Mr. Ablow continued. “There’s no french fries happening? That’s all kale and carrots? I don’t buy it. Just saying.”
“I like her booty,” Lisa Kennedy Montgomery said.
“Fitness of the first lady aside, her presentation aside, I have no comments on that,” Sandra Smith said.
“Join me in my criticism,” Mr. Ablow pleaded, to no avail.
