MABSCOTT, W.Va. (AP) - Theatre West Virginia is doing some house cleaning as it moves to a smaller office.

The organization plans to sale costumes, props and other items at an auction set for Saturday at its former office in Mabscott.

Manager Scott Hill tells The Register-Herald (https://bit.ly/1mXuBeL ) that the costumes and props are for several plays that won’t be in the theater’s rotation for the next five years.

Other items to be sold include tables, chairs, sound equipment and artwork.

Theatre West Virginia is preparing for a 54th season of presenting outdoor dramas at Cliffside Amphitheatre at Grandview Park.
