HURON, S.D. (AP) - One of two eastern South Dakota men accused of staging an armed robbery at a convenience store has pleaded not guilty.

KOKK-AM in Huron reports that 26-year-old Donnell Williams is facing charges of grand theft and commission of a felony with a firearm.

The prosecutor in Beadle County has said the investigation into the robbery found that Williams of Carvour and 27-year-old Sydney Malone worked together to take more than $3,000 from the Northstar Corner Pantry in late January.

The station reports Williams is accused of bringing a hand gun into the store and pointing gun at Malone, who was working behind the counter. Williams also worked at the store.

Malone pleaded not guilty last month to a grand theft charge.

Both men will face trial June 26.
