RENO, Nev. (AP) - A woman killed in a hit-and-run accident has been identified by Reno police as 50-year-old Dianne Lane.

Officers say Lane was crossing Mae Anne Avenue around 8 p.m. March 27 when she was struck by a dark-colored pickup. She died at the scene.

Investigators say Lane was not in a marked crosswalk, which is believed to have contributed to the accident. She was struck while crossing the street between Coit Plaza and Sierra Highlands Drive.

The driver of the pickup did not stop and police are still looking for a suspect.
