MONROE, La. (AP) - A 34-yeaer-old Downsville man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and probation for five years for receiving child pornography.
The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1ea1wd3 ) U.S. District Judge Robbie James sentenced Randy A. Powell on Monday.
According to evidence presented in December, Powell was maintaining social media accounts under an alias in violation of his sex offender registration requirements.
Authorities searched Powell’s home at the time of his arrest in February 2012 and found 1,041 images and 150 videos of prepubescent children. About 50 of the videos and photos depicted children in bondage.
