BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder’s city manager has approved a business incentive of up to $25,000 for a Boulder ice cream maker.

Boulder Homemade Inc., which plans to move into a new facility, was granted an incentive as part of the city’s flexible rebate program. As part of that program, Boulder Homemade can be reimbursed for up to $25,000 paid on sales and use taxes and permit-related fees.

According to the Boulder Daily Camera (https://tinyurl.com/lkne7zl ), Boulder officials are taking into consideration social, community and environmental issues. City officials say Boulder Homemade exceeded the guidelines with the installation of a heat capture system on a new building and the continuation of a zero waste program.
