AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) - Police say a dispute that left one person shot to death and another wounded in Augusta began with a fight at a nightclub on Broad Street.
Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose said 28-year-old Antonio L. Counts of North Augusta, S.C., was found dead inside a car early Tuesday morning on an exit ramp leading to South Carolina.
Another man found in the car, Donald Hill, also of North Augusta, had a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken to a hospital.
Richmond County deputies tell The Augusta Chronicle (https://bit.ly/1mXeKN1) that they believe the shooting started with a fight at a Broad Street club.
The victims were later hit when someone fired into the vehicle on Broad Street at the Gordon Highway exit ramp.
