MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) - The Teton Park Road has been plowed and now is open to non-motorized recreation, including bicycling and roller-blading.

Grand Teton officials say plow crews cleared a 15-mile section of the park’s main road last week.

The road isn’t scheduled to open to cars and trucks until May 1. Park officials say people in the meantime are free to use the road for hiking, dog-walking and other activities but visitors need to keep an eye out for snow-removal equipment.

Snow removal continues on the Jenny Lake scenic loop road and other routes in the park.
