Sioux Falls airport sets monthly boarding record

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Airport passengers who flew out of Sioux Falls in March helped set a new monthly boarding record for the airport.

The 44,686 departures were topped the previous record set last July by 256 passengers.

Airport executive director Dan Letellier tells the Argus Leader (https://argusne.ws/1lOqzVF ) the bump largely came from Allegiant passengers to Las Vegas, Phoenix, Orlando, Fla., and St. Petersburg, Fla.
