Ouachita schools OK superintendent’s extension

MONROE, La. (AP) - The Ouachita Parish School Board has approved a contract extension for its superintendent, Bob Webber.

The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1qh8OOf ) the board voted unanimously Tuesday to add six months to Webber’s contract, extending it to July 3, 2015. The current contract expires Dec. 31.

Webber says he will retire at the end of the contract extension.
