MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A Missouri man says he will plead guilty to sending numerous harassing messages by email, phone and letters to a woman in North Dakota.
Carl Story, of Kansas City, Mo., is charged in federal court with stalking. He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
Story is accused of sending hundreds of communications to the woman, some of them threatening to hurt her and her family. One text message warned that five or six bikers would knock down her door and kick in her teeth.
A plea hearing has not been scheduled.
