NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 21-year-old man has been shot and killed in his North Augusta home.
Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton says Dakota Cook was shot once by his wife during a domestic dispute around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police have not filed charges as their investigation continues. They say there were four children in the home all younger than 5 years old, but they were not hurt.
The State Law Enforcement Division is helping North Augusta Public Safety officers investigate the shooting.
