SMITHS STATION, Ala. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man killed in an eastern Alabama car crash.
Alabama State Troopers say 41-year-old Morris L. Reese of Phenix City died after his SUV struck a tree on Lee County Road 207, about two miles west of Smiths Station.
The Alabama Department of Public Safety said the wreck happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Smiths Station is about 10 miles northwest of Columbus, Ga.
