LINDEN, N.C. (AP) - Authorities say a Linden woman stabbed her father to death during a fight at their home.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says someone called 911 at around 10:20 p.m. Sunday to report a stabbing.
Investigators found 63-year-old Robert Lee King had been stabbed several times. His body has been sent to the state Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Authorities say 48-year-old Donna Blue was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Investigators say Blue and King argued, but Blue won’t say why and has refused to cooperate.
Blue’s bail has been set at $500,000. Jail records listed no attorney for her.
