KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in northern Arizona say a 16-year—old Utah youth is dead after falling while climbing a rock face to reach a cave.
The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says Rulon Jessop of St. George died Sunday while he and family members were camping in the Cane Beds area near Colorado City in the Arizona Strip north of the Grand Canyon.
The Sheriff’s Office says the youth slipped and fell approximately 100 feet.
