PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities are searching for a man and woman in connection with a shooting at a northeast Philadelphia takeout restaurant that critically injured a customer.

Police said the man was in the Good Good Chinese takeout in the Kensington section of the city shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when a man came in and announced a robbery.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said a violent struggle ensued between the robber and several customers, and a 50-year-old man was shot.

Small said another man managed to get the gun away, and a woman then entered and started fighting with the customers.

Police said both suspects fled in a sport utility vehicle. Small said the entire struggle was captured on surveillance video.

The shooting victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
