GANS, Okla. (AP) - Authorities have discovered a body inside a home that burned two weeks ago in eastern Oklahoma.

Authorities in Sequoyah County say firefighters believed the home was vacant when they extinguished the blaze in Gans two weeks ago. But according to Fort Smith television station KHBS (https://bit.ly/PLh8Zw ), a man’s body was discovered inside the home on Monday.

Authorities say the victim’s body was sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy and positive identification.
