BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors have filed first-degree murder charges against two teenagers accused of beating a 30-year-old developmentally disabled man in his Boulder apartment.

The Daily Camera reports (https://bit.ly/1sxRRks ) Austin Holford and Luke Pelham, both 18, were charged Tuesday in the beating of Aaron Tuneberg, who died earlier in the day. Pelham is being held on $100,000 bail, while Holford, who also is accused of failing to appear in a misdemeanor case, is being held on $500,000 bail.

Police say Tuneberg suffered serious head injuries when he was beaten with an aluminum baseball bat and a golf club during the theft of a video game console on March 31.

Pelham and Holford also are charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon. They are scheduled to appear in court again April 15.
