TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a man with a serious gunshot wound was dropped off at a hospital by somebody else who then immediately left.

Police had gone to a home in a west side neighborhood in response to a shooting report Saturday night, but found nobody at the residence.

But a shooting victim was dropped off at the hospital about 10 minutes later.

The identity of the shooting victim hasn’t been released, but police say he is expected to survive.

According to police, evidence indicates the shooting may have occurred during a home invasion.
