CRANSTON, R.I. (AP) - Cranston police say an officer and another person were injured when a police cruiser and car collided.

Police say the accident happened when the officer was responding to a call shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday. Officials say the cruiser and the car collided at Park and Reservoir avenues.

Authorities say the officer and other driver were brought to a hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries.



It’s not clear which driver caused the crash. Police are investigating.
