COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Prices at the pump are up slightly in Ohio to start the work week.
The cost for a gallon of regular gas in Ohio was averaging $3.60 in Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s up about 4 cents from a week ago.
Monday’s Ohio price is about a penny lower than a month ago and 5 cents higher than last year at this time.
The national average Monday was 2 cents lower than the Ohio average, at 3.58 per gallon. That’s up 2 cents from last week, and 9 cents higher than a month ago.
Experts say gas prices tend to go up as spring arrives and level off around Memorial Day.
