KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) - Police say the search will resume Tuesday for a man missing at a Kalamazoo lake.

Kalamazoo College identifies him as 56-year-old Takashi Sugimori. The Kalamazoo Gazette says his wife Noriko teaches Japanese at the college, and a daughter is a senior there.

College President Eileen Wilson-Oyelaran says the school is “doing all it can” to support the family.

Police say Sugimori may have fallen through ice at Asylum Lake. He planned to go cross-country skiing and hasn’t been seen since Wednesday.

Rain and shifting ice have made it difficult for divers to get into the water.
