MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot residents this week will decide the fate of a proposed $39.5 million school bond issue.

The measure being voted on Tuesday is a scaled-back version of a $125 million bond issue that voters defeated in December.

The revamped proposal would pay for construction of a new elementary school, additions at two other elementary schools, and safety and security upgrades at all district schools.

The bond issue defeated in December would have included a second high school.
