MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) - A young man has been found dead with his pants down in central Ohio.

Richland County authorities say a driver spotted the man’s body on the side of a road in Mansfield on Saturday morning and called 911.

A sheriff’s report says the dead man had his shirt up and his pants down around his knees.

The report says that his internal temperature was still warm and that rigor mortis had not set in.

The Mansfield News Journal reports (https://ohne.ws/1hiLD4F) that a scratch found on the man’s back is believed to have occurred after he died because it wasn’t bloody.

The report says the ground and vegetation around the body was disturbed, and that muddy tire tracks were nearby.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigations is investigating.
