WASHINGTON (AP) - Police are looking for a man in connection with the armed robbery of a PNC bank in southeast Washington.
Police say it happened Thursday at about 10:20 a.m. when a man entered the bank located in the 4100 block of South Capitol Street SE.
Once inside, the man approached a bank employee and demanded money, which the employee turned over.
Police say the man had a silver handgun in his waistband and described him as a black male between 20 and 25 years old. Police say he was last seen wearing a light gray camouflaged hooded jacket with black and white print and a yellow zipper in the front. They say he was wearing a black cotton ski mask, black sunglasses and white latex gloves.
