NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - Norman police say a seventh arrest has been made in connection with the shooting death of a man during a home invasion.

Police say six men and a woman are in custody for the March 27 shooting of 24-year-old Justin Barnard of Norman. Police say Barnard died at Norman Regional Hospital where he was taken after being shot in the face.

Police believe the shooting is related to a March 26 incident in Oklahoma City that involved an argument between Barnard and his girlfriend

Police say Barnard was at home with his grandmother when several people wearing masks kicked in the front door and shot Barnard before taking the woman’s wallet and leaving.

Police say the woman was hit in the head, but did not suffer serious physical injuries.
