AVONDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities in the Phoenix area are seeking a man who abducted a 16-year-old girl.
According to Avondale police, the girl was abducted Monday morning while waiting for her school bus. She was given something to drink that made her light-headed and eventually pass out. When she woke up, she didn’t know where she was but went and got help.
Police describe the suspect as a white man in his mid-30s, 200 to 250 pounds with a blond mustache and blond hair on his arms.
He was driving a red pickup with a gray stripe on the side. He was wearing a gray baseball cap, gray shirt, blue jeans and dark brown work boots.
The two-door pickup was carrying a lawn mower covered with a tan tarp in its bed.
