Most Louisiana parishes were under severe thunderstorm watches as heavy weather crossed the state.

Storms knocked down trees and knocked out power for some in northwestern Louisiana early Friday.

KSLA TV reported that more than 2,700 SWEPCO customers were without power early Friday in northwest Louisiana, Arkansas and east Texas. Damage included power lines in Shreveport’s Lakeside neighborhood.
