ST. LOUIS (AP) - Heavy rain is being blamed for the collapse of a large section of sidewalk in St. Louis.
KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/1fRZwkV ) reports that the sidewalk collapsed on Scott Avenue. No one was hurt and crews blocked off a section of traffic in the area in case more sidewalk collapsed on a street that runs adjacent to it.
Parts of the St. Louis region received more than 5 inches of rain in recent days, most of it on Thursday as three separate storms rolled through the area.
