ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 21-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 15-year-old girl in Anchorage.

Karlie West faces a charge of second-degree murder and second-degree assault after the Tuesday death of the teenager, identified by relatives as Precious Alex. Police say West was arrested Thursday night.

KTUU (https://is.gd/KjQGjp) says West is accused of driving two men to a Mountain View apartment where the shooting occurred.



The two men - 28-year-old Lammar Burney and 24-year-old Jamal Townsend- face charges of first- and- second degree murder, first-degree attempted murder and second-degree assault in connection with the teenager’s death.

Townsend is being held on $1.5 million bail and Burney is being held on $1 million bail.

West reportedly told authorities Townsend harbored a grudge against a man at the apartment.
