OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) - A man has been accused of robbing a store in West Ossipee, N.H., and threatening the owner with a gun.
Police tell WMWV-FM that the state police commanding officer in Tamworth was able to make an arrest quickly Thursday. Forty-two-year-old Richard Schoonmaker of Effingham was arrested not far from O’Keefe’s discount store.
Police said a man allegedly told the store’s owner, who was not hurt, that he would kill him. The owner stepped outside the store and the suspect got away.
