EUGENE, Ore. (AP) - A large skate park opens Friday under the Washington-Jefferson Bridge in Eugene.

The $2.5 million project has been years in the making and offers boarders more than 23,000 square feet of ramps and riding space. It’s also open to bikes and rollerblades.

KVAL reports (https://bit.ly/1q6cp1B ) lighting will allow the skate park to remain open until 11 at night.
