CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Corvallis police are investigating the death of a 7-year-old boy.

The Corvallis Gazette-Times reports (https://is.gd/hlIaXU ) that police declined to say whether they were investigating the death as a homicide, an accident or something else.

A parent contacted police Friday at about 9:30 a.m. to report that the boy was found unresponsive in his bed.

The newspaper reports that the house was cordoned off with yellow caution tape as officers investigated the scene and knocked on neighbors’ doors.
