RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Circuit Judge Robert Gusinsky has warned a Hot Springs man accused of rape to be careful about sending him letters.

The Rapid City Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1hdm4gB ) that the judge told 53-year-old Randy Sparkman that letters sent to the court become public record.

Sparkman is scheduled to stand trial in June for second-degree rape and incest. He is accused of raping a family member in 2012Gusinsky advised Sparkman to run everything through his court-appointed attorney.



Sparkman has remained in the Pennington County Jail under a $100,000 bond since his arrest in January.
