NORTON SHORES, Mich. (AP) - A reward is increasing to $25,000 for information about the 2013 disappearance of a mother from her job at a western Michigan gas station.

The Muskegon Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/1iBZGNo ) Great Lakes Ford of Muskegon donated $4,000 through the Silent Observer program, helping to boost the “Reward for Jessica” fund.

Police say efforts to find Jessica Heeringa (HEER’-in-guh) continue. She disappeared April 26, 2013, before she was set to close the station in Norton Shores. Police say there was no indication of a robbery. Investigators have said a small amount of blood found outside the station belonged to her.

Heeringa, who has a young son, was 25 years old at the time of the disappearance. The gas station had no security cameras, leaving authorities with fewer clues.
