BRENTWOOD, Mo. (AP) - A leading St. Louis-area defense attorney is accused of drunken driving following a traffic accident.

Scott Rosenblum was booked by police in Brentwood on municipal charges of driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving.

Authorities say Rosenblum was driving a 2013 Bentley on McKnight Road about 12:15 a.m. Tuesday when the car crossed the center line and struck a pickup truck. The truck’s driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Rosenblum told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/QZoJUY ) that he had been tired from putting in long hours during a high-profile trial. In that case, his client was accused of molesting a child at a hotel while drunk. The client was acquitted.

Rosenblum would not say whether he had been drinking.
