OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Omaha police are investigating an armed bank robbery in northwest Omaha.

Police say in a news release that officers were called to a US Bank branch at 89th and Maple streets late Wednesday morning.

Bank employees told police that three people entered the bank, displayed firearms and demanded money. Witnesses say one of the suspects assaulted two bank employees during the robbery. Police say after getting an undetermined amount of cash, the suspects fled on foot to the south.



No arrests have been made.

Omaha Crime Stoppers, in partnership with the local bankers association, offers up to a $25,000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest of bank robbery suspects.
